What is the time commitment like after Recruitment?

What’s the difference between Round 1 and Round 2?
- Round 1 goes from January 22nd to February 3rd. These 2 weeks are what we call an “open” Recruitment – recruits may join in and attend events at any point within this time frame. The written application results are released on February 3rd, marking the end of Round 1.
- Round 2 goes from February 4th to February 10th. This week is invite-only (for those that made the Round 1 cuts) and will feature some service/fellowship/phil events as well as Mocktails and Interviews. Final Results are scheduled to be released on February 10th.
Are there any mandatory events I need to attend if I do make it past Recruitment?
- GBMs: Every Monday (7:45pm - 9pm)
- New Member Meetings: Every Monday (9pm)
- Welcoming Ceremony: February 11th (11am-1pm)
- Westwood Invasion: February 11th (5-9pm)
- Chapter Retreat: February 24th to February 25th
- DTA: March 2nd
- BLR: March 4th
- These are typically mandatory events, especially for potential new members. In the EXTREME event that you cannot attend, please let us know! :)
Are all events in person or online?
- As of now, all events are in person UNLESS stated next to the event on the Notion.
How do I know whether an event has changed since I last checked the notion?
- Events will contain [UPDATED] if it’s new, the location has changed, or the time has changed. The notion page has the most updated events.
Are service events capped?
- Yes, the cap # should be listed next to the respective event! In order to attend, sign up through the form linked beside the specific event. We will try to prioritize those who have not attended a service event yet, but nonetheless, sign up just in case!
- ‼️Note → By signing up you are NOT guaranteed to be able to attend this Service Event. You will be notified ASAP if you are one of the first recruits to sign up.
What is the waitlist for Service Events?
- When a Service Event has already reached maximum signup capacity, further sign ups will put you on the waitlist. This means that if, for any reason, a recruit who was signed up earlier and supposed to attend is suddenly unable to, those on the waitlist will be notified (via email) and given an opportunity to attend.
- You should be notified 24 hours before the event’s start time whether or not you are able to attend/on the waitlist.
